I have girlfriends with fucking sexy brains and extremely active minds. I feel lucky to have them. They are women of many interests and full schedules. So, it’s hard to catch up with them. I won’t say we are busy ladies because you know…

Busy is a decision, debbie millman.

Well, these girlfriends always ask me where do I find the cool, relevant and a bit crazy stuff that I always talk about. I constantly remind them that a well-informed woman is not only more creative and effective but also more attractive and interesting to talk to. Well-informed women know their priorities and their value. They don’t waste time.

So, if you are a smart women looking for the best content online. Here’s my personal list of goodies:

#girlboss newsletter: I get an almost daily e-mail from them and they always curate valuable content about career, sex, technology, finance, relationships and life. I don’t get overload with content about fashion, cosmetics, and make-up, even though Girl Boss “older sister” is a clothing online store called Nasty Gal. If you watched the series on Netflix or read SOPHIA AMORUSO’s book, you know what I’m talking about.

I also recently found Girls’ Night In. A newsletter craft for girls like me, who don’t want to go out to clubs and bars and prefer to stay in with friends. It mostly gives you recommendation of books, documentaries, quizzes, and games to enjoy with your crew during the weekend. Alisha Ramos is the girl behind the newsletter crafting everything in her own personal way. She’s been working hard to get her message out there.

theSkimm is probably one of the first good news newsletter I’ve subscribed. Their team does a great job curating the most important headlines of the day and summarizing them in funny and smart paragraphs.

I also love Tim Ferriss’s 5-Bullet Friday, a short e-mail with a list of interesting things from reading suggestions, people to follow on social media, gadgets to try and quotes to ponder. If you know me in person you might have heard about Tim Ferriss. I tend to talk about him with 11 of 10 people I talk to, so…check him up!

It was listening to Tim’s podcast for instance that I came across Brain Pickings. Maria Popova is a talented writer and blogger who sewing old-literature and modern-life with a meticulous sensible thread. The result? A fascinating patchwork of human nature reflections and thoughts. Her newsletter arrives every Sunday morning with the most interesting articles of the week. Her website is also full of value content!

It’s very easy to get lost on your social media feed and in websites that don’t quite bring value to your life. It happens to me all the time. I was spending so much time on Instagram that last Saturday I decided to delete the app on my phone. It’s been only three days, but I can feel my productive bar going up!

Peace & ❤ — always!

Odarize-se!

What are your sources of good content? Share with the crew! Thank you for reading and See You Next Tuesday! ;-)
